Fun PUG night at Brody Dezembers studio

These photos are of the lovely Rebekah Westover
We had a little photographers PUG meeting (PUG is for photographers who use Pictage, which I'll be signing up with this week) and Brody had this great one light set up, so we pulled our model Rebekah in just to shoot for fun and experiment with the light. Fun stuff, I want that light!

MARCELLA AND LUCAS BRIDALS

Holy Smokes... what a great, great bridal session. I have been dying to shoot at either the Salt Flats or the Sand Dunes. Knowing it's January, we thought the Salt Flats would have too much snow so we opted for the Sand Dunes. As we were driving through Eureka, I spotted this little walk way with the sun shining through stained glass... I knew it would look hot. Next the Sand Dunes. We got there right when the sun was setting and poor Marcella FROZE, it was sooooo cold, but beautiful. Marcella put it into perfect words "I'm glad we did it, but I'll never do it again", I will though, but of course I was not the one braving the elements bare skinned! Thanks soooooooo much you two for going the extra mile for great bridals, they're stunning!

LISA AND TYLER PREGNANCY

Lisa is my sister in law so that makes Tyler Marks brother. These guys are fantastic! Lisa has danced (mostly ballet) since she was 8 years old and just stopped to have the baby. She was employed by odyssey dance company
and put our family in shock everytime we watched her perform... simply stunning! We took these pictures right before her baby shower last Thursday and she went into labor the very next day... phew, we got em' done in the nick of time. Lisa is such a great person & humble as can be. Tyler I knew from junior high school, he's my age. When I met Mark I could not put my finger on who he reminded me of until I saw his credit card with the name "Benson" on it and immediately knew he was Tyler Bensons brother. I love the Benson family. By the way they named their little girl Ava Rea... isn't that the cutest?

PRINCESS CLAIRE BO

My little princess. Claire has a "thing" for my makeup recently, it's probably because MAC has about the coolest colors available and although I don't wear 90% of the eye shadows I buy, I sure like to look at them and so does this little girl. I have the shadows that are straight pigments so you can use them as blush, lipstick, eye shadow, etc. the color is fantastic, super rich and lush. Well Claire wanted to wear the pink pigment yesterday so I put a little on to appease her. Today she wanted the strong, green glitter shadow, so I went all out on her. Then she wanted her princess dress on... do I her camera clicks in the future? You bet I do. I pulled out the camera and placed her on Ellas bed. With beautiful natural light coming in through the windows we had our little photo shoot. Claire is our little "Lumpy Bird", "Billy Goat", and "Stink Butt". Her real name is Claire Victoria Benson but for some reason we called her Claire Belle when she was born. Ella couldn't say "Belle" at the time so it came out as "Bo" and it has stuck three years later... that's who she is. Simply Adorable.

KIMS BRIDALS

"Forget your troubles and just get happy
Ya better chase your cares away!!"... la, la, duuubbi, duuubbi, duuubah, hey! Ah man Kim was such a trooper on this 15 degree bridal day. I mean just look how happy she looks and is! You would never think it was such a cold and bitter day, but look how perfect her bridals turned out to be. We made sure she was as comfortable as possible. I brought a blanket to wrap her up in between locations, I also brought her some hand warmers to hold, but the genius idea of the day was to bring a hand held propane heater... I don't know if it was Kims or her friend Amys. Anyway Kim you look awesome, I hope you've thawed.

TJ and JESSIE Engagements

TJ and Jessie are an amazing couple. These guys are my idols, seriously. Jessie is in medical school for family medicine and will soon be doing her residency. TJ is going for a PHD in glaciology, uh huh. They ski together, hike together, sea kyack together, travel the world together, and I am lucky enough to have photographed them their short time here in Park City over the holidays (TJs family has a cabin in Deer Valley). They will be getting married in June at Alta and again I get to photograph it. They reside in Minnesota right now but will be moving depending on her residency and where he gets accepted for his PHD work (they are hoping it's in the same state). The day we did their engagements is was coming down hard (Jan 4th) but they just bundled up in their snow gear and we "played" in the snow. After their session I had to drive to Driggs, Idaho for our family ski vacation and the weather was so incredibly bad I15 was shut down for 2 hours, we finally made it to our destination at 4:00 a.m. bloody lips and all (when I get nervous I insesently pick my lips) If you want to check out there adventurous life go to their WEDDING SITE

I know they're out of focus on this one, but I love it, sooooo
